ACTIVITIES
Have students choose a musician who particularly interests them. Explore his or her life in more depth with a trip to the library and a visit to some links.Ask the music teacher for help in getting a recording of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons.” Students will choose their favorite concerto; then, working in small groups, they will create a mural to celebrate Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer. Encourage them to capture in images what they hear in Vivaldi's music, using a variety of media. Display the four murals in a prominent location.
